Emily Moores is an artist and the author and co-curator for the Cincinnati 5 Artist Series. Moores earned her MFA in 2014 from the University of Cincinnati and her BFA in 2008 from the Cleveland Institute of Art. She has exhibited her work nationally, including the Contemporary Arts Center (Cincinnati, OH), the Cleveland Foundation, and the Dougherty Arts Center (Austin, TX). Emily Moores was a recipient of the Ohio Cultural Arts Individual Artist Award and the ArtPrize Seed Grant. Moores was a resident artist at the Vermont Studio Center in 2012 and previously organized the Corporeal Texture Conference, which hosted both national and international panelists.
